“Our favorite comfort food is chicken noodle soup with lots of veggies.”
Having met the charming Alice Currah on several occasions, I was thrilled when she published her first book, Savory Sweet Life. She has a blog of the same name. I follow her because we share the same philosophy about food. Quite simply, it is meant to be shared. (Except strawberries.)
Alice creates food that comforts. There’s recipes for family occasions, holidays and a special chapter on caring for others with food.
I think what I enjoy most is her straightforward approach to cooking. This is a great cookbook for beginner cooks and busy parents that want to make something to put a smile on everyone’s face.
One thing is evident, Savory Sweet Life is a feel good cookbook about real food for home cooks.
I’m excited to giveaway a copy of this cookbook!
