Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups low sodium broth
  • 2 garlic cloves or 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano or dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher or sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1/4 cup half and half  or heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Blend ingredients on high for 30 seconds.
  2. Transfer to stockpot and bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
