Fresh-Squeezed Frozen Lemonade
Living in California means lemon trees galore, and 10-20 perfectly yellow citrus fruits ripe and ready to use at once. As Summer comes to a close, there’s only one thing for my boys and I to do: make frozen lemonade. Sipping this sweet, tangy treat makes us all feel like kids, an it doesn’t get any better than that!
My friend Tess, The Blender Girl, knows all the secrets for perfect flavor profiles when it comes to smoothies, and this one is no different. It’s frozen pineapple that adds the natural sweetness in this frozen lemonade! These fruits blend together into a delicious, tropical treat with no added sugar.
Frozen Lemonade 4 Ways
The flavor of an ice-cold, lemonade will always be one of my favorite things. As an adult, changing up the classic lemonade recipe is a fun way to add extra health benefits or add a fun twist for entertaining. If you’re like me and a Labor Day barbecue is a big, fun celebration with family and friends, this frozen lemonade becomes a panachet with a bit of pale ale, and the adults at your gathering will never look at lemonade the same.
