Carrot Cake Smoothie

Smooth, Creamy Carrot Cake in a Glass

Packed with a few servings of fruit, a serving of fiber-full vegetables, delicious oat milk carbohydrates, as well as protein and healthy fat from cashews and pecans, this thick creamy carrot cake smoothie a delicious, well rounded meal in a glass. The Blender Girl whipped up this sweet treat for us and it’s been in heavy rotation ever since.

Because it hits all the major food groups, a carrot cake smoothie makes an easy and quick lunch on the go. It’s a silky smooth, rich and satisfying beverage that will keep you full and hit all those sweet tooth cravings. I enjoy a thicker smoothie because it feels more like a substantial meal that you’re eating, instead of sipping on a drink. Psychologically it just makes me feel fuller and more satisfied!

Creamy Vegan Smoothies

A little bit of oat milk and handful of cashews are the secret to the creamy, milkshake consistency of our Carrot Cake Smoothie. These ingredients also provide the protein and carbohydrates that eliminate the need for dairy. Win, win!

Frozen peaches and pineapples turn the carrot cake flavors into almost an ice cream texture, adding a fresh sweetness to compliment warm cinnamon spice and bright ginger and lemon zest notes.

This is also the perfect smoothie for kids to sneak in a serving of veggies in a healthy, frozen treat.

Carrot Cake Smoothie Recipe

If you’re looking for an alternative to the standard green veggie smoothie, I highly recommend switching it up and giving carrots a chance in your blender. You won’t be disappointed!
