Easy Blender Cranberry Apple Juice
I get a little spark of joy walking into the supermarket this time of year (seriously! JOY! in the supermarket…during the holidays…I know!) when I see stacks upon stacks of bags filled with the berry to beat all others: cranberries. Why is it the berry of my eye? And it all makes sense with that homey feels of that tasty cran-apple juice.

This is why you should add an extra few bags of this underrated berry to your shopping cart and pop them in the freezer when you get home. It’s not just their tart flavor that compliments so many dishes, cranberries are an actual superfood in their own right. They add the perfect puckering, dry finish to this sweet, tangy homemade cran-apple juice, my favorite way to use them.
Sugar-Free Healthy Juice
Cranberries contain more antioxidants than other every day varieties like strawberries and blueberries. What they don’t contain is much sugar, which is why they taste so bitter and not as palatable on their own without a little bit of balance. This is where apple juice comes in. Just the tiniest bit of sweetness really helps the cranberry flavor shine.
Sipping on this easy homemade cran-apple juice is so refreshing among some of the heavier fall flavors. It’s one of the most vibrant and delicious sugar-free juices I make at home!
But wait, there’s more. You can also try this Green Juice recipe or Tomato Juice as alternative for your healthy juice recipes.
My friend Tess, the Blender Girl, knows a thing or two about the perfect blend. Cranberries also pack LOTS of fiber for their tiny size, so the recipe she developed for us calls for blending over juicing. These berries have a stellar reputation for preventing urinary tract infections. Cranberries contain A-type proanthocyanidins (PACs) that prevent bacteria from adhering to the bladder wall.
